DFE Chemie GmbH has been supplying customers in China with corrosion inhibitors from the FEPORID^® series since 2010. After a period of preparation, the establishment of a separate company in Shanghai has now been completed. The entry in the Chinese commercial register took place on 25 September 2013.

DFE Chemicals Shanghai is the first DFE subsidiary outside the European Union. The management thus acknowledges the importance of Chinese steel production and processing in a global context.

The new company, which is based in the Baoshan District in Shanghai, will in future import DFE Germany's products to China and maintain a warehouse there in order to be able to react more flexibly to customer requirements.

Shorter delivery times, lower minimum order quantities and, last but not least, better customer service - these are the advantages that a local subsidiary is supposed to offer. This will further increase the competitiveness of DFE products as well as the benefits for customers.
